The XE is Jaguar’s baby model and due to its handling and driving being the best in class is a very popular car. It is very well built, powerful and economical which further add to its attractions. Great care however is needed when topping up the AdBlue tank. Should you overfill it, the inboard sensors can become confused and the vehicle enter limp mode.
Resetting isn’t a straightforward procedure or something the owner can carry out. The AdBlue tank has to be drained, refilled and the onboard computer reset using our state-of-the-art Jaguar factory diagnostic system. If you do find yourself in this unfortunate position, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to return you to the road safely and as quickly as possible.
